SHREEBS /shrēebs /noun
A hug or squeeze, a nickname, a term of endearment; a sense of community.
SUMMER 2012 | a backyard in LA:
Shreebs founder, Casey Goch started pouring local coffee, one cup at a time, out of her backyard in Venice, CA. In an effort to cultivate human connection and community, the yard became a regular weekend hang for the neighborhood.
WINTER 2014 | on the move:
Shreebs roving coffee bar began spreading the love and community vibes, catering to events all over Los Angeles. The Shreebs bar popped-up for longer stints between gigs, like inside a Hollywood laundromat, in an artist workshop, and had a short residency at HD Buttercup in the historic Helms Bakery complex.
FALL 2015 | container life:
A bright pink shipping container on an astroturf lawn became Shreebs new home in the Arts District of DTLA. The long-term pop-up with Shreebs locally roasted beans, smooth cold brew, and chef-driven lattes were welcomed with open hearts by the tight knit community. It was a true Shreebs experience!
TODAY | neighborhood shop, NOW OPEN:
Shreebs is proud to announce our first brick and mortar shop is NOW OPEN. With an expanded menu, cozy courtyard seating, yogi neighbors, and plenty of parking, Shreebs is bringing the good vibes and delicious drinks to Echo Park.
