HOW DO YOU TAKE YOUR COFFEE? BREW METHOD?
I am a tea person! Hot with a dash of cream, or plain over ice.
NAME SOMETHING YOU LOVE.
I love cycling around Los Angeles. Cycling to my studio gives me energy for the day and experiencing LA from a different angle inspires me.
Bonus: Less parking tickets.
WHAT IS KEY TO YOUR PROCESS?
I mostly think about who is going to use what I make and how they are going to use it. I strive to make the things we use everyday beautiful as well as functional. I make prototypes and use them myself to suss out potential issues and then make changes.
WHAT IS YOUR DREAM PROJECT?
I have just started to make assemblages with my wood scraps. I would love to someday do a huge wood installation in a public building. I love public art and would love to contribute in some way.
WHERE WOULD YOU LIKE TO LIVE?
I love LA, and I really love where I live in the Arts District, but would not mind living in Europe for a while. Lisbon seems to be the cool place to be right now, and the weather is just like LA. So maybe that could be a great place to retire.
ON YOUR DEATHBED, LAST MEAL IN LA?
Is this like, a fantasy question? If so, then Tom Hardy spoon feeding me Bestia’s Veal Tartare Crostino and White Negronis.
